These Terms govern your use of swiminstructorretreat.com and your registration for any Superhero Swim Instructor Retreat event ("the Retreat"). By using our site or submitting a reservation, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

Our retreats are designed for working swim instructors, coaches, and swim school staff who are 18 years or older. By registering, you confirm you meet these criteria.

2. Reservations and payment

• Submitting the reservation form does not by itself constitute a paid spot at the Retreat.
• We will follow up by email and/or SMS with payment instructions and confirm your final spot once payment is received.
• Pricing is shown in U.S. dollars and may be updated from time to time. The price you see at the time you register is the price we will honor for that registration.

3. SSU Community discount

Members of our SSU Community on Skool receive an exclusive 20% discount when they enter the discount code on the reservation form. Discount eligibility is verified at the time of payment. We reserve the right to refuse the discount if the code is invalid or used in bad faith.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Specific cancellation and refund terms will be shared with you along with the deposit / payment instructions for the Retreat. We always work in good faith with attendees who need to change plans due to emergencies, travel disruptions, or health issues.

5. SMS messaging program

By providing your phone number on our reservation form, you opt in to receive transactional text messages from us about your registration, including confirmations, venue and date announcements, and payment reminders.

• Message frequency: typically one confirmation message per registration, plus occasional logistics updates leading up to the Retreat (no marketing blasts).
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt-out: reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• We will never share or sell your phone number or opt-in data to third parties for their marketing.

6. Conduct at the retreat

Attendees are expected to treat hosts, fellow attendees, venue staff, and the venue itself with respect. We reserve the right to remove, without refund, any attendee whose behavior we determine endangers others or materially disrupts the Retreat.

7. Photos and content

We may take photos and video at the Retreat for use in marketing, social media, and future website content. By attending, you consent to your likeness being used in this way. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please let us know on arrival and we will do our best to honor your request.

8. Liability

Participation in retreat activities, including but not limited to swim sessions, water-based labs, and recovery activities, is voluntary and at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Superhero Swim Instructor Retreat and its hosts are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property arising from your participation.

9. Travel and accommodations

Unless explicitly stated as included in your pass, you are responsible for your own travel to and from the Retreat venue. We will share venue and timing details prior to the Retreat once they are finalized.

10. Changes to the retreat

We reserve the right to modify the Retreat schedule, venue, or hosts in the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Materially affected attendees will be notified by email and offered a fair resolution.

11. Intellectual property

All website content, including the SSU Community and Superhero Swim Instructor Retreat names, logos, and branding, is owned by us. You may not use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which our business is registered. Any disputes will be handled in good faith and, if necessary, in courts located in that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
